Ghazghkull’s arrival in the Octarius Sector

Ghazghkull’s arrival in the Octarius Sector was the presence of the Ork warlord Ghazghkull Mag Uruk Thraka in the Octarius Sector, in Segmentum Ultima, after he left the Third War for Armageddon. No single world is named as the place where he fought, and the arrival is not placed on the planet Octarius. One account says his flagship Kill Wrecka reappeared in the Ork empire of Octarius after the Battle of the Haunted Gulf, a battle with no coherent year. In that account he contended first with the rival warboss Urgok Da Slayer and then with Tyranids of Hive Fleet Leviathan, and he began the host he called his Great Waaagh. He later left the Octarius warzone at the head of a fleet of over five million ships. Another account dates his arrival in the Octarius Sector to 999.M41. In that account he had grown bored with the Third War and proclaimed a new Great Waaagh. Ork forces in the sector were then under Zog Steeltoof, who had risen to power after Gorsnik Magash joined the fighting on Armageddon. Ghazghkull came to the aid of those Orks, killed a Mawloc (a large Tyranid burrowing creature), and rallied the Orks of the sector, before leading an armada of five million warships toward the Imperium.
