Palacia Heresy

The Palacia Heresy was a rebellion on the Imperial world of Palacia in 499.M41. The Imperial Guard regiments committed against it were divided by quarrels among their commanders, and the systematic execution of the planet’s population was under way. Logan Grimnar, Great Wolf of the Space Wolves, took command of the quarrelling regiments and ended the executions. Under the banner of his Great Company the loyalists rallied, and many cities that had been thought lost to the heresy turned on the traitors. Word of Grimnar’s victory spread widely, together with reports of the fair and just treatment he gave Palacia’s people. No sector or system is recorded for the world, and no date narrower than the year.
