Raid on Solemnace
The Raid on Solemnace was an action of 793.M41 in which Inquisitor Helynna Valeria of the Ordo Xenos attacked the Necron tomb world Solemnace. She sought an explanation for why the world had been spared by Hive Fleet Behemoth. Valeria’s party was destroyed by the planet’s defenders under Trazyn the Infinite, and she withdrew with her surviving forces. During the encounter Trazyn infected her with mindshackle scarabs, intending later use of the inquisitor. A later account holds that Inquisitor Katarinya Greyfax of the Ordo Hereticus discovered the infection and shot Valeria, after which Trazyn encased Valeria in a stasis field and returned her to Solemnace before the bolt could detonate.
