Thorn Wishes Talon

A cryptic signal bearing the cant-name Thorn Wishes Talon reached Gideon Ravenor’s warband, drawing the retinue to the waste-world of Malinter in pursuit of what first appeared to be an unknown contact. The summons led the warband to a ruined tower in Malinter’s Eastern Telgs, where the figure calling himself Thorn was revealed to be Gregor Eisenhorn, Ravenor’s former master, operating under deep cover on business of his own. Master and pupil used the meeting to exchange intelligence gathered independently, including warnings concerning the Divine Fratery and the warp entity Slyte, before parting again to pursue their separate investigations. The waste-world itself offered little beyond that obscurity; the significance of the day rests on the reunion of master and pupil and on the intelligence that passed between them there.
