Acralem

Acralem is a world in the Darkfall System of the Vidar Sector, Ultima Segmentum. It is remembered for the daemonic incursions of M’kar the Reborn in 799.M41 and again in 999.M41.

In the first war Grey Knights of the Third Brotherhood, with Flesh Tearers, Astral Knights and nine Imperial Guard regiments, broke M’kar’s warp-fortress after Battle-Brother Kaldor Draigo struck the deathblow that cast the daemon back into the warp. Two centuries later Draigo returned alone, fought again at Castle Gorseth, the Trebarin Valley and Shadow Peak, and was dragged into the warp when he banished M’kar a second time.

The planet stands in Imperial record as the ground of that feud; the Darkfall System places it within the Vidar Sector rather than as an uncharted orphan world.
