Agripinaa System

The Agripinaa System is the principal forge star system of the Cadian Gate, in the Agripinaa Sub-sector, close to the Eye of Terror. The system, referred to as the Orb of a Thousand Scars, lies near enough to the Eye that Warpsmiths regard it as a place of display. From the Agripinaa Sub-sector it supplied arms to Cadia for millennia. Sister worlds such as Narsine, Morten’s Quay and Sigma-Agrius share its exposure to the same threat.

After the fall of Cadia, the system remained in service. Traitor sieges, evacuations and forge-war have all struck the docks of Agripinaa. The Cadian Gate’s remaining industrial capacity now runs through these worlds rather than through the ruined fortress of Cadia. Faith’s Anchorage and the outer rocks, once rear-area depots, have become magazines and zones of active combat.

The Agripinaa System remains significant because a defended region without a supply of munitions cannot hold its ground. Unofficial fan maps place the system within the Agripinaa Sub-sector and treat it as a sister forge to Cadia, not as a replacement capital.
