Astorgius

Astorgius is an Imperial cardinal world, a world governed by the Ecclesiarchy, the Imperial church, and a war world of the Thaxaril System in the Chalnath Expanse, Ultima Segmentum. It was celebrated across its sector for magnificent architecture, great wealth, and priceless relics, and was home to a large Genestealer Cult infestation. The world was devastated by the T’au invasion of the Fifth Sphere of Expansion under Commander Shadowsun, the Razing of Astorgius, in the course of which its greatest cathedra-city, Iglesor Magna, was destroyed; a later account states that Shadowsun was victorious there.
