Shas'O Vior'la Shaserra is Commander Shadowsun, Puretide's other famous student and the Kauyon answer to Farsight's Mont'ka. An eclipse over K'resh gave her the name. Cryostasis kept her for wars the T'au would not live long enough to fight unaided.
Aun'Va thawed her to replace a commander who had gone rogue. She smashed Farsight's last statue, took the Third Sphere, and has spent the Fifth trying to hold a Greater Good that the Ethereals now broadcast through a hologram. The XV22 is her signature. Patience is the tactic.
Vior'la claims her. T'au claims her. The Empire needs her more than either sept likes to admit, because the alternative is admitting Farsight was right about the leadership.
