Avalus

Avalus is a world of Imperium Nihilus that became the centre of Lion El’Jonson’s Protectorate after his return in M42. Following the Great Rift it suffered frequent Chaos and xenos attacks. Shortly after liberating Camarth, the Lion and his followers manifested in Avalus’s jungles by Forestwalk, declared the world under his protection, and defeated a Ten Thousand Eyes assault drawn by that declaration.

Astropaths on Avalus were used to announce the formation of the Lion’s Protectorate across the surrounding region. Avalus thereafter stood as the central world of that protectorate, with Camarth and Sable among other named members. No sector or galactic coordinates are firmly recorded; the world remains unplaced pending attested coordinates.
