Lion El’Jonson is primarch of the Dark Angels, raised in Caliban’s forests and later its knightly king. He was a hunter who trusted few and explained himself to fewer.
He returned from the Heresy to a civil war with Luther that tore the planet apart, then slept in the Rock for ten millennia while his sons hunted the Fallen in secret. The Unforgiven built a church of shame on his silence.
He is awake again in the Era Indomitus, changed by the forest and by time, hunting on his own terms. Dante found him. Guilliman already knew the galaxy had room for two loyal primarchs and not much patience.
Caliban and the Rock mark his origin and wound; Terra seats the Heresy council that still names him; Camarth and Somnium are the Imperium Nihilus theatres where the awake Lion’s footprint crosses the map again.
