Bakka Sector

The Bakka Sector is a region of the Segmentum Tempestus centred on the Bakka System, the site of one of the five Segmentum fortresses. The system serves as a naval capital, and its shipyards supply the hulls on which crusades in the southern regions depend.

Battlefleet Tempestus operates from the sector. Its docks act as the last port of call before the void for forces committed against Ork wars and Tyranid advances. Neighbouring systems, from Chakka to Wightan, share the same chart.

The sector retains its standing because the south has no second naval capital of comparable scale. Unofficial summaries place the sector within the Segmentum Tempestus and treat it as a child entry of the Bakka System.
