Charadon Sector

The Charadon Sector is the Ultima 'Iron Sector', a breadbasket and armoury whose Ork empire of Charadon has plagued neighbouring forge worlds for millennia. Metalica and a nest of agri-worlds, gas giants, and ore belts made it worth defending; Snagrod's empire made it worth invading.

After the Noctis Aeterna, Typhus's Death Guard turned War Zone Charadon into a rust-and-plague front, especially around Chromyd and the Tri-forge Cluster. Lirac and Obolis sub-sectors still show on later maps as the Imperial half of a cube the Orks never politely vacated. This is 41st-millennium industrial war, not a Heresy household.

The Charadon Sector still matters because Ultima's guns have to come from somewhere the Orks can see. Unofficial fan summaries keep the Ultima parent and do not confuse the Ork world Charadon with the whole sector.
