Calas Typhon was First Captain of the Death Guard, a Barbarus-born officer who learned Chaos before Mortarion admitted the Legion was already damned. As Typhus the Traveller he became Nurgle’s Herald, a walking plague fleet with a Terminator’s patience.
He steered the XIV into betrayal at Isstvan, stood in the traitor line at the Dropsite Massacre, and brought the Destroyer Hive to Terra’s walls. Mortarion was his primarch and his reluctant convert; Typhon was the one who made sure the journey through the Warp ended in the Plague God’s arms.
The Death Guard still follow the Traveller’s path when the Legion wants infection instead of a siege. Barbarus taught him endurance. Nurgle taught him to share it.
Barbarus–Isstvan III–Isstvan V–Terra is his footprint: homeworld under Mortarion, the betrayal that gutted the loyalists, the Massacre line, and the Palace war where Typhus’s plague earned its name.
