Chinchare Subsector

The Chinchare Sub-sector is a wandering gravity well associated with the Calixis Sector, dragged by a rogue star and charted within the Obscurus cube. On 40k Orrery it comprises the Obscurus cube surrounding that well, together with the neighbouring location pins Jubal and Torian. The star Chinchare, a child entry of the sub-sector, has its own dossier; Eisenhorn’s mining asteroid is a separate pin, Cinchare.

Orthrea, Plessern and the remaining rocks of the Halo Stars share the moving well. The sub-sector exists as a designation so that a rogue star, and the bodies it carries, have a recorded location.

The Chinchare Sub-sector serves as the address of the wandering Calixis well and does not constitute a second Scarus. Unofficial maps retain the Obscurus cube as its parent, although the lore files the well under Calixis.
