Chondax

Chondax is an Ultima campaign world of the Horus Heresy on which the White Scars fought Orks, a war the Alpha Legion used to keep Jaghatai from Terra. The location is the world of the Chondax Campaign specifically. It is not one of the other worlds associated with Chogoris.

The White Scars, the Fifth Legion, regarded the campaign as the conclusion of a war against the Orks. The Alpha Legion, the sons of Alpharius, treated the same war as a means of fixing a timetable. By the time Jaghatai learned that the Heresy was genuine, the fighting against the Orks had already imposed the delay. Chondax is distinct from both Chogoris and Catallus.

Chondax remains significant as the named delay imposed on the White Scars. Unofficial fan summaries retain its Ultima parent and do not relocate the entry to Chogoris, to Sol, or to the Kalium Gate feint.
