Torghun Khan

Torghun Khan was born Haren Svensellen on Terra, took the White Scars' Brotherhood of the Moon, and let the warrior lodges talk him into a treason that Chogoris would not forgive for free. He was a Terran trying to belong, which is how those lodges always recruit.

Chondax, Chogoris, and the road from Prospero all saw him on the wrong side of Shiban's loyalty. When the Path of Heaven came he chose the Sagyar Mazan, the suicide brotherhood, and died redeeming a name he had already spent in other men's politics.

Haren Svensellen got what he had wanted: to be remembered as a Scar. The cost was the rest of his life. Torghun's last ride was an apology delivered at combat speed, and the Brotherhood of the Moon paid it in full.
