Coheria

Coheria is the crystal moon of Port Demesnus, in Segmentum Obscurus, with no system or coordinates recorded. Its white sands of mildly psychoactive stone were left by the psychic shock of the Fall of the Aeldari, when the moon lay at the edge of the Aeldari empire, and it was rediscovered at the close of the forty-first millennium by Illic Nightspear of Alaitoc.

Eldrad Ulthran, then on Ulthwé, was the first of the seers told of Illic Nightspear’s discovery, and later led the Masque of the Midnight Sorrow on the moon in a ritual intended to awaken Ynnead. Watch Captain Artemis and the Deathwatch attacked during the rite. One account says a stasis bomb, which Eldrad had not foreseen, stopped the ritual, that he retreated, and that the energies were lost to the void and later found Yvraine. Another says Artemis disrupted the ritual but did not wholly defeat him, and that the failed ritual roused Ynnead at the moment Yvraine died in the Crucibael.
