Eldrad Ulthran is Farseer of Ulthwé, the seer who has been trying to steer the galaxy off cliffs for ten thousand years and is still only mostly successful. He warned the Emperor about Horus. Terra did not listen. Craftworlds still do, which is why Ulthwé's runes stay bloody.
He half-woke Ynnead on Coheria, put Yvraine on her path, and has spent the Era Indomitus arguing that the Aeldari will not get a second Fall to learn from. Other Farseers call him arrogant. The dead of Ulthwé call him necessary.
The Black Library keeps a chair for him. So does every disaster he almost prevented. He is still working the difference.
