Corythos System

The Corythos System is a Segmentum Tempestus jungle well whose principal world, Cretacia, is the Flesh Tearers' death-world home after millennia of crusading. Cloud-wrapped swamps hide reptiles the size of scout Titans.

Nassir Amit's Chapter settled here because the planet could feed their need to hunt. Feral humans tough enough to recruit share the mud with insects that punch power armour.

The Corythos System still matters as the Flesh Tearers' only acknowledged home. Unofficial maps keep the Tempestus parent and do not confuse Cretacia with a Blood Angels moon.
