Cygnax System

The Cygnax System is a northern Maelstrom Zone militarised hive well in the Karthago Sector, also spelled Gygnax, until death cults and the Reborn seized its atomics in 577.M41 and burned every living thing off the surface. The dead world knocked the Zone's Imperial chain sideways for decades.

Bellerophon's Fall, an industrial moon of the gas giant Crysaor, shares the dead well. Sagan and Badab had to carry what Cygnax no longer could.

The Cygnax System still matters as a Maelstrom lynchpin that is no longer a hive. Unofficial fan notes keep the Karthago parent.
