Deep Orbital DS-191

Deep Orbital DS-191 is a space station in the Callinedes System. Shortly before the Horus Heresy, during the Great Crusade, the Emperor’s Children and the Iron Hands fought together there to clear Ork forces from the station, in the engagement known as the Battle of Deep Orbital DS191.

Hundreds of Space Marines from both Legions took part in the fighting that followed, among them Lucius and Saul Tarvitz of the Emperor’s Children. The campaign within the Callinedes System subsequently proceeded to an assault upon Callinedes IV.
