Eskrador

Eskrador is a world of the Imperium, placed by chart in the Ultima Segmentum, and is remembered chiefly as the site of a major battle between the Ultramarines and the Alpha Legion in the aftermath of the Horus Heresy.

There Roboute Guilliman is held to have killed a primarch wearing the name Alpharius in personal combat, after which the Alpha Legion continued to fight and drove the Ultramarines from the planet before enduring orbital bombardment. Which twin died on Eskrador, if either did, remains contested, and the world’s later history in the forty-first millennium is not firmly recorded.
