Fenris Sector

The Fenris Sector is an administrative division of Segmentum Solar centred on Fenris, the death world that is the home of the Space Wolves. It ranks above the Svarteldari Sub-sector, which lies within it alongside Fenris.

Beneath the sector, at one or two levels of the hierarchy, lie the Fang, Midgardia, Frostheim and the stations named after wolves. Magnus has attempted on more than one occasion to break this region apart. Some charts prepared under the lex classification place Fenris in the Segmentum Obscurus, but this dossier retains Segmentum Solar as the parent division. Fenris itself is recorded as a grandchild of the sector by way of the Fenris System, not as a direct child.

The Fenris Sector retains its standing because the Rout is based nowhere else. Its position within Segmentum Solar, and the dispute over its segmentum, are the principal points of record concerning its classification.
