Fornax Aleph

Fornax Aleph is a Sabbat hive world whose population disappeared before the Imperial Guard landed and where General Elbeth’s garrison was later lost.

General Elbeth’s scout frigate, the Ziegler, found the hives dead and no vox traffic on day 303 of 757.M41. His garrison subsequently heard screams with no identifiable source until every transmission ceased on New Year 758. After a meteor at the pole opened the north of the planet, the Iron Snakes fought the tide of daemons that followed and held the world for the fleet, which had been delayed.
