Geviox

Geviox is a mining world of the Imperium in the Gevion Cluster Worlds sub-sector of the Uhulis Sector. A small planet with a high iron content, it serves as a processor world whose ore is shipped to forge worlds across the Imperium. Factorums cover about two thirds of its surface, and banks of grey iron dust lie between its silos and towers. It is worked by a transient population of about five million, who are expected to move on to another world once its ferrous ore is exhausted. Ironlandings is one of its principal factorum cities.

In late M41 Geviox was the centre of the Gevion Cluster War, in which Drukhari of the Volgorragh Rift invaded the sub-sector and were defeated by the Salamanders 3rd Company, a strike force of Firedrakes accompanying the Forgefather Vulkan He’stan, and the 156th Night Devils regiment of the Astra Militarum.
