Vulkan He'stan is Forgefather of the Salamanders, the one son of Nocturne tasked with finding the artefacts Vulkan left behind instead of sitting a throne. He gave up a company's command to walk the galaxy with a spear, a gauntlet, and a list that has not got shorter.
The Spear of Vulkan, Kesare's Mantle, and the Gauntlet of the Forge are already in his keeping. The rest of the relics are still a map. He has fought through the Tome Keepers' wars and the Era Indomitus without treating the search as a retirement.
Tu'Shan holds Nocturne. He'stan holds the promise. The Chapter needs both, and only one of them gets to come home between hunts.
