Grim Scythe

The Grim Scythe, also spelled Grym Scythe, is a space hulk infested by servants of Nurgle. Like other space hulks it is a conglomerate of derelict vessels fused together in the warp, and it has a habit of sliding into the warp and reappearing hundreds or thousands of light years from its last position; its map position in the Segmentum Obscurus is an estimate.

In M41 the Salamanders Forgefather Vulkan He’stan tracked the hulk, believing that it incorporated the Chthonic Hammer, a mining ship lost in the warp at about the time of the Primarch Vulkan’s disappearance, and boarded it with half of the Salamanders 3rd Company. The boarding party fought Plague Marines and plague zombies aboard.
