Jerulas System

The Jerulas System is a location on the boundary of Segmentum Pacificus and Segmentum Tempestus, associated with the origin of the Land Raider Crusader. It is a hive system that remained isolated for a long period before it was reincorporated into the Imperium by the Black Templars.

When rediscovered, the system was prosperous and showed no interest in Imperial missionaries. High Marshal Ludoldus’s Black Templars subdued it by force in a series of sieges against its hives. The defenders claimed that Rogal Dorn had designed their fortifications, a claim that strengthened the Templars’ resolve. The Land Raider Crusader originated in these sieges. Jerulas Station lies within the same system.

The Jerulas System is remembered chiefly as the place of origin of the Land Raider Crusader. Some maps place it in northern Ultima; this listing retains its existing parent of the combined Pacificus and Tempestus segmentum region and does not relocate the entry on the basis of that cartographic disagreement.
