Mannheim Gap

The Mannheim Gap is a canyon on the hive world of Armageddon, near Hive Volcanus on the continent of Armageddon Prime. It cuts through the Volcanus Mountains. No coordinates for the canyon itself are recorded.

The Gap is tectonically active and subject to quakes and dust storms. It is named after Kurtiz Mannheim, a princeps of Legio Metalica.

During the Third War for Armageddon Orks held the canyon and built scrap-titans there. Celestial Lions assaults, and a later Imperial attack known as the Second Mannheim Siege, were fought in the Gap. Fighting returned to the Volcanus Mountains and the Gap in the Fourth War for Armageddon.
