Medusan Subsector

The Medusan Sub-sector is a region of Segmentum Obscurus containing the Sthenelus System and the waste-world Medusa, the homeland of the Iron Hands. On this site the entry denotes the sub-sector as a place, not the Fall of Medusa V campaign.

Ferrus Manus landed on Medusa, killed the wyrm Asirnoth, and left the planet’s clans to live on a world torn by earthquakes. The war for Medusa V is not recorded under this location.

The sub-sector is significant chiefly as the address of the Iron Hands. Unofficial maps retain the medusan-sector as its parent. Medusa is classed two levels beneath the sub-sector by way of the sthenelus-system, not by way of the medusa-system.
