Iron Father Feirros

Malkaan Feirros is Iron Father and Master of the Forge of the Iron Hands Chapter, a Medusan who regards emotion as a tool and refuses its removal. The Iron Council, the Chapter’s governing body, describes him as a maverick because he declines to have feeling excised from his mind. His battle-brothers call him the soul of the Chapter, a description offered as a warning as much as a compliment.

Feirros trained Kardan Stronos and preserved Clan Raukaan from being broken after the Skarvus Ambush. He also underwent the Primaris transformation, judging the addition of flesh a cleaner upgrade than the addition of another armoured plate. He carries Gorgon’s Wrath on his shoulder and wields Harrowhand, a cog-toothed axe.

Medusa continues to produce recruits who aspire to become machines, and Feirros remains among them as a standing counter-position. He maintains that logic without feeling is merely a faster way to lose a war, an argument regarded as a continuation of one Ferrus Manus left unfinished.
