Meridian System

The Meridian System is a hive world in Subsector Aurelia, depicted in Dawn of War II and noted for its continent-hives and the Angel Forge. It is catalogued here as meridian-1810 and should not be confused with an unrelated Ultima location of the same name.

After Aurelia froze into the warp, the Meridian System became the industrial capital of the subsector. Governor Vandis took no action against the Ork and Eldar incursions until they attacked a warehouse holding Blood Ravens relics that he had appropriated, whereupon he fled. Elena Derosa then opened the forges, enabling the Chapter to arm itself against the Tyranids. The campaigns of Gabriel Angelos return repeatedly to the system.

The Meridian System remains the surviving capital of Aurelia. Unofficial fan notes retain Subsector Aurelia as its parent location.
