Meridian

Meridian is a hive world in Subsector Aurelia, featured in Dawn of War II, that became the subsector’s industrial capital after Aurelia froze in the warp. Its manufacturing capacity made it the principal centre of production in the subsector once the former capital world was no longer accessible.

Governor Vandis took no action against the Ork and Eldar forces present on the planet until they attacked a warehouse in which he held relics stolen from the Blood Ravens; he then fled. Elena Derosa opened the planet’s forges, enabling the Blood Ravens Chapter to arm itself against the Tyranids.

Meridian is connected to several other records in the Aurelian setting. Gabriel Angelos and Davian Thule’s Blood Ravens fought the Aurelian Crusades on the planet, and Apollo Diomedes and the Honour Guard are associated with Angel Forge. Within Subsector Aurelia, Calderis, Typhon Primaris and the frozen Aurelia are its sibling locations, and Meridian served as hive capital after the capital world vanished.
