Eliphas the Inheritor took a Word Bearers crozius by killing the previous owner, which Lorgar called inheritance rather than merit and never forgot. He raised the Templum Daemonarchia on Kronus during the Shadow Crusade and got a shrug from his primarch for the trouble.
Ten thousand years later a cult on the same world dragged him back through an eight-pointed sacrifice. He spent the Dark Crusade trying to turn Kronus into a daemon world, lost Deimos to the Blood Ravens, and exploded under a daemon prince's verdict. Abaddon still found a use for the leftovers.
He returned in Black Legion plate to haunt Aurelia, betrayed Araghast, and kept promising the Despoiler the Blood Ravens' souls. The games disagree on whether he ascended or died again. Kronus remembers the first version.
