Nachmund Subsector

The Nachmund Sub-sector is the corridor around Vigilus that gives the Nachmund Gauntlet its name and was for a time the only stable crossing of the Great Rift.

The sub-sector contains Vigilus, Dharrovar, and a large number of the rocks that make up the Gauntlet. Several conflicts converge on it: Calgar’s war, the treachery of the Knights on Dharrovar, and pressure from the Black Legion. Gorandahl marks the Sanctus-side entrance to the Gauntlet, whereas this entry covers the corridor around Vigilus.

The Nachmund Sub-sector retains its significance because the Gauntlet is a region of space rather than a single hive world or settlement. Unofficial summaries keep the nachmund-sector entry as its parent and treat Vigilus as a child of the vigilus-system entry.
