Nemesis System

The Nemesis System is a wasteland system in the Nemesis Sub-sector, known for the Inquisition dungeon-fortress beneath Nemesis Tessera, near the Eye. Its principal significance derives from that installation, which lies close enough to the Eye to be strategically relevant. Chima Lomas and Ovaris Gulag are also charted within the system.

The Black Legion breached the fortress during the 2nd Black Crusade and released the daemons confined there. During the 13th Black Crusade, a fallen inquisitor opened a rift within the fortress, and the Space Wolves relieved the surviving conclave. Sources assign the system to differing sectors, alternately Nemesis and Belis Corona; the system is the location of the fortress’s star.

The Nemesis System remains of standing as an Inquisition position on the approaches to the Eye. Unofficial maps continue to record the Nemesis Sub-sector as its parent region.
