Obsidia System

The Obsidia System is a Chapter fief of the Astral Knights, an Ultima Chapter, that the High Lords later gave to the Sable Swords. It is a fortress system of that Chapter and is not a Black Templars homeworld.

The Astral Knights were destroyed in halting a Necron World Engine, and the system passed out of their hands with them. Novamarines later recovered the planet from a mutant war known as the Twisted Convocation. The Sable Swords subsequently received fortifications that had been built and defended at the cost of a Chapter’s extinction. No Templar monastery is recorded on the planet.

The Obsidia System stands as a memorial to the Astral Knights, whose loss preceded the destruction of the World Engine. This site’s records keep the system under its Ultima parentage and do not classify it under the Black Templars.
