Ophelia System

The Ophelia System is the Ecclesiarchy's Tempestus twin-world well, home to the cardinal planet Ophelia VII and its sister Ophelia VIII. After Terra, Ophelia VII is the oldest cardinal see, with the Synod Ministra and the Convent Sanctorum sharing the same gravity.

Benedin IV parked the whole Ministorum here for three centuries of cathedral-building before Greigor XI dragged the throne back to Terra. Battle Sisters still split their strength between this system and Terra so no single tyrant owns the faith. Daemons and Night Lords have both tried the walls since the Rift.

The Ophelia System remains a shrine-industrial capital rather than a quiet diocese. Unofficial summaries keep the Tempestus parent and refuse to collapse VII and VIII into one cathedral.
