Parmenio

In Warhammer 40,000, Parmenio is a world whose principal function is the training of Ultramarines; its capital is Hecaton.

During the Plague Wars, Mortarion, Typhus and Ku’gath occupied Hecaton and poisoned the ground of the world. Guilliman subsequently led a counter-invasion. In the course of that campaign he killed Septicus, a lieutenant of Ku’gath, in the streets.

Parmenio’s specialised role as a place of training did not exempt it from invasion or contamination. Its occupation by three of the Plague Wars’ principal figures, and its recovery under Guilliman’s command, form the central episodes in its recorded history.
