Perditus

The Battle of Perditus was fought about 009.M31 on a planet the battle article calls Perditus. Lion El’Jonson ordered that planet destroyed after the Dark Angels secured Tuchulcha. The Perditus System article names Perditus Ultima, a Mechanicum research station, and Perditus Secundus, and does not say which of those is that planet. No coordinates or segmentum are recorded.

On the ground, Calas Typhon commanded the Death Guard against Iron Father Lasko Midoa’s Iron Hands. The battle lasted 38 days before the Dark Angels were sighted. The Lion landed, parleyed with Typhon and Midoa, and sent Typhon back to the Terminus Est. Typhon then warped into Tuchulcha’s chamber, killed adepts and skitarii there, and was teleported back to the Terminus Est by Tuchulcha itself, having failed to take the engine. He later found a three-blister mark upon himself.

A separate action, the Battle of Umbral-51, was fought by Death Guard under Centurion Kadus Brekkar, who was killed by Knight-Preceptor Vendrahel; this duel is not attributed to Typhon.
