Piscina

Piscina is a neighbourhood marker in the Segmentum Obscurus, associated with a Dark Angels mining site researched separately as the Piscina System. It is not the parent of Piscina IV. It has no child locations, and Piscina IV and Piscina V are recorded under the entry for the Piscina System.

The substantive history belongs to those numbered worlds. Piscina IV is a mine-head that Ghazghkull used before Armageddon, and Chaplain Boreas died there rather than use virus bombs against the planet. Piscina V is a volcanic world used for recruitment. The un-numbered Piscina marker is the point that some maps place approximately six thousand light years east of the Eye.

It survives as a neighbourhood reference and does not denote a fourth Dark Angels world. Unofficial summaries retain its Segmentum Obscurus parent and do not assign the garrison record of Piscina IV to it. They also leave the researched child worlds under the Piscina System rather than re-parenting them to this entry.
