Sagan I

Sagan I is a numbered world in the Sagan System of the Karthago Sector, situated within the logistical area of the Badab War. It is a sibling of Sagan III, the world that the Administratum regarded as the system’s tithe prize, and is recorded on this map under the sagan-system entry.

The Astral Claws’ use of virus weapons, together with the loyalist counter-strokes that followed, made the Sagan System an approach to the Maelstrom Zone. Sagan III was the named warehouse world that both sides sought to hold. Sagan I is the first numbered world charted beside it. No Chapter monastery is attributed to Sagan I, and none is supplied here.

Sagan I is significant as a world of the Badab neighbourhood rather than as Badab Primaris. Unofficial summaries keep it under sagan-system, do not draw on the tithe entry for Sagan III, and do not conflate it with the Sagan remnant recorded in the Melchior System.
