Sak’trada Deeps

The Sak’trada Deeps are a region of space recorded as the theatre of a Great Crusade campaign against the Hrud, and as including the Vulpa Straits. Neither galactic coordinates nor a segmentum position are attested for the region, and its worlds were judged by the Imperial War Council to hold little strategic value; Golghis is named among the planets fought over there.

In 999.M30 the Iron Warriors under Perturabo waged the Sak’trada Deeps Campaign in the region, purging its Hrud inhabitants at great cost before a mass Hrud migration broke out of the Deeps and a temporal shockwave devastated much of the Legion’s fleet. The losses, and the campaign’s apparent futility, deepened Perturabo’s resentment of the Emperor shortly before the revolt on Olympia.
