Salinas

Salinas is an Imperial world of the Paragonus sub-sector in Ultima Segmentum, placed by Imperial cartographers with medium confidence. The barriers between the Warp and realspace are unusually thin there, and the planet has long been troubled by Chaos.

In M37 the Daemon Prince Ustaroth manifested on Salinas until Grey Knights under Ignatius defeated him. Around 965.M41 the Achaman Falcatas received the Right of Settlement after a twenty-year crusade against the warlord Crozus Regaur; under Leto Barbaden they fought the Sons of Salinas and ended the war with the Khaturian Massacre.

Uriel Ventris and Pasanius Lysane arrived from Medrengard aboard a daemon engine with the Unfleshed. The dead of Khaturian seized those mutants, Grey Knights returned to contain the breach, and after trials the two Ultramarines were sent back to Macragge. Daron Nisato later governed the uneasy peace.
