Saramanth

Saramanth was a master world of Ultramar during the Great Crusade, a Tetrarch seat alongside Macragge, Iax and Konor. The Ultima Segmentum entry on this site refers to that lost world. It does not refer to any other location of similar name.

Tauro Nicodemus held the office of Tetrarch when the Horus Heresy began. Orbital plates, comparable to those of Macragge, once hung above the world. Roboute Guilliman, on his return some ten millennia later, listed Saramanth among the ruined worlds of Ultramar and stated that it had been devastated long before. This listing is the principal indication of its fate.

Saramanth remains significant as a missing master world of Ultramar. Unofficial fan summaries retain its Ultima Segmentum placement. They do not treat it as a surviving Tetrarchy capital or as a populated hive or recruiting world of the 41st millennium.
