Tauro Nicodemus

Tauro Nicodemus was Tetrarch of Saramanth, one of Ultramar's four, a champion Guilliman could send as a letter of introduction. After Calth he walked into the Schadenhold and told Barabas Dantioch the XIII still had use for an Iron Warrior who remembered how to hold a gate. That errand was the Tetrarchy doing what it was for: turning a primarch's trust into someone else's reinforcement.

On Calth itself he brought Titans into Lanshear when Ventanus's Fourth was about to vanish under Hol Beloth. A Tetrarch is supposed to be a regional king. Nicodemus spent the Heresy as a messenger who arrived with guns.

Saramanth is not Macragge. That was the point of the four. Guilliman needed lords who could speak for worlds that were not the capital. Nicodemus did, then went where the theoreticals had already failed. The title survived. The quiet of Saramanth did not.
