Sheol IX

Sheol IX, called simply Sheol in one account, is a world of the Thramas Sector on the Eastern Fringe. It was the site of the decisive battle of the Thramas Crusade, in which the Dark Angels under Lion El’Jonson, using the warp engine Tuchulcha, fell upon the Night Lords fleet at anchor and stormed Konrad Curze’s fortress on the surface. The Lion wounded Curze into a coma there, and the Night Lords lost between a fifth and a quarter of the Legion’s strength. Victory at Sheol IX effectively ended the crusade in the loyalists’ favour.
