Signus System

The Signus System is the Blood Angels' Heresy trap well in Ultima Segmentum, a seven-world industrial cluster Horus sent Sanguinius to die in. Signus Prime was the capital until daemons made it a playground for Kyriss and Ka'Bandha.

Holst, Kol, Phorus, Scoltrum, Signus Tertiary, Ta-loc, and the triple stars Signus Alpha through Gamma still sit on this map as a graveyard. Sanguinius got the Legion out and then declared the whole cluster forever dead. A cyclonic charge finished the Cathedral of the Mark.

The Signus System still matters as the wound that taught the Blood Angels their rage had a name. Unofficial summaries keep the Ultima parent and do not confuse the pin with Baal.
