Talasa System

The Talasa System is a star system in Ultramar granted to the Deathwatch; its principal world, Talasa Prime, is the chief training hall and Ordo Xenos keep. The Deathwatch maintains a fortress-world there, and the system also contains Danarch, Falan’s Reach, Talasa Secundus, Talasa Tertius, Uldregor and the station Valete.

Kill-teams drawn from the Ultramarines, the Scythes of the Emperor and the Lamenters have long used the system as a staging point in operations against the Tyranids. Since the opening of the Great Rift, the supply of recruits from the Imperium Nihilus has been cut off, and other Deathwatch watch-fortresses now share the burden that Talasa formerly bore.

The Talasa System remains the principal point of Deathwatch presence within Ultramar. It is catalogued under Ultramar as a distinct location, separate from Macragge and from Talassar.
