The Black Library

The Black Library is a Harlequin fortress-archive in the Webway that serves as the Eldar repository of forbidden lore. This map classifies it as a station under the Exodus Worlds. It is not a planet, not a fleet in Ultima, and not the publishing imprint of the same name.

Solitaires, masques, and farseers in desperate need travel to the library for books capable of unmaking a soul. The servants of Cegorach guard its doors. Imperial charts that record a fixed position for it give inaccurate coordinates, since the Webway does not remain in one place.

The Black Library remains the Webway archive to which accounts of the Eldar eventually refer. Unofficial summaries retain its Exodus Worlds parent and its classification as a station, and they do not treat the entry as a craftworld or as a Segmentum Ultima dockyard.
